Handwoven Towels
Handwoven towels turn necessity into luxury. Indulge yourself every time you use one! Everyday tasks such as drying your hands and doing the dishes become exceptional when using a handwoven towel. When you pick it up, you remember you are holding an individually made, comforting item that slows and calms your life, a towel that was woven by hand in my studio and was not simply one of thousands mass-produced in a noisy industrial factory. All my handwoven towels are pre-washed and pre-shrunk and can be machine washed and dried. REMEMBER! The colors that you see on your computer monitor may not be the exact colors of the item. Every monitor is different. Therefore, I have also included a description of the color and yarn used in each piece.

"The Natural" Towel Organic Natural-Color (No Dyes) Cotton Towel "German Bird's Eye" pattern Planted, grown, harvested, and processed in accordance with certified organic methods, the natural-colored cotton was spun into yarn without being dyed. The two colors in these towels derive from one yarn consisting of 25% green/75% white cotton and another yarn made from 50% brown/50% white cotton. The colors will contiune to darken slightly with their first 30-40 washes. Machine wash warm; tumble dry low. The two shades of brown in these towels derive from one yarn consisting of 25% brown/75% white cotton and another yarn made from 50% brown/50% white cotton. I used equal amounts of each color to create a multihued effect, giving a pattern that is subtle, yet distinct. The colors will contiune to darken slightly with their first 30-40 washes.
