Handwoven Scarves and Table Runners
I group the scarves and long, narrow table runners together. In the past, I have often found that when I label an item as one, someone buys it to use as the other! I work primarily with natural fibers (such as cotton, linen, hemp, wool, and silk) but occasionally use a small percentage of synthetics. Some pieces are woven from naturally-colored (no dyes) organic cotton. The fiber content of each item is always stated. REMEMBER! The colors that you see on your computer monitor may not be the exact colors of the item. Every monitor is different. Therefore, I have also included a description of the color and yarn used in each piece.

Click on image for more pictures and information.	"On the Town" Scarf - I wove this elegant scarf using an Eight-Fold Basket Weave pattern. The warp stripes alternate between 8 strands of wool and 16 strands of rayon. The weft uses a wool/nylon mini boucle yarn in deep purple. The tiny boucle loops give every other stripe a slightly raised texture. The ends are finished in twisted fringe, the colors alternating between wineberry and rhododendron, tying together the color schemes of each side of the scarf. As the picture shows, one side of the scarf is deep purple and wineberry; the other side is deep purple and rhododendron.
